Day 1: Nairobi to Aberdare National Park

• Depart from Nairobi in the morning and head towards Aberdare National Park, which is located about 150 kilometers north of Nairobi.
• As you drive through the scenic landscapes, you might make a stop for lunch at one of the restaurants or lodges along the way.
• Arrive at Aberdare National Park in the afternoon and check-in at your lodge or camp.

Day 2: Full-day Game Drive in Aberdare

• Start your day early with a morning game drive to witness animals at their most active time. The park's diverse ecosystem supports a range of wildlife, including the rare bongo antelope and the giant forest hog.
• Breakfast will be either packed or back at the lodge, depending on your preference and the sightings during the game drive.
• You can also go for a guided nature walk to explore the Aberdare forest and learn about its unique flora and fauna.
• In the afternoon, return to your accommodation for lunch and some leisure time.
• Later, head out for another game drive to discover more of the park's hidden treasures.
• Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp in Aberdare National Park.

Day 3: Aberdare to Sweetwaters Game Reserve, Return to Nairobi

• After breakfast, leave Aberdare National Park and make your way to Sweetwaters Game Reserve, located in the Laikipia region.
• Sweetwaters is known for its conservancy efforts and is home to the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya.
• Arrive at Sweetwaters and check-in at your lodge or camp.
• Enjoy a morning game drive in the reserve, where you have a good chance of spotting the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other wildlife species.
• Have lunch at your accommodation, followed by a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Here, you can observe rescued chimpanzees and learn about their rehabilitation and conservation efforts.
• In the afternoon, depart from Sweetwaters and head back to Nairobi, where your 3-day Aberdares and Sweetwaters safari comes to an end.
